The museum was practically destroyed after the Second World War, so at the end of the 20th century it was completely renovated. There are dozens of archaeological samples there, especially from Ancient Egypt. The star of the museum is undoubtedly the famous bust of Nefertiti.

It is another of the Berlin museums that give its name to the city’s famous island. Therefore, access is done in the same way as to the previous museum. The price of the tickets and the opening hours are also the same as those of the Pergamon Museum.

3. Topography of Terror

In Berlin there are not only museums dedicated to art, but there are also some focused on Nazism and everything that surrounded that dark time in the most recent history of Europe. One of the best that you can visit is Topography of Terror.

Review German history between 1939 and 1945, tracing the history of the Gestapo and the SS, the security of the Third Reich. The atrocities of the Nazis and the devastating consequences for the country and the city of that regime are perfectly shown.

4. Berggruen Museum

The museum has three rooms full of sculptures, paintings and drawings, as in the case of the area dedicated to the painter from Malaga. It is one of the most important modern art museums in Europe, and one of the most significant enclaves of Picasso within the continent.

The museum is located at Schloßstraße 1. To get there you can do it by metro, reaching the Richard Wagner Plazt stop on the U7 line.
