However, this time we propose a totally different plan that will allow you to visit a great variety of places. We want to propose you a caravan route along the Spanish Mediterranean coast.

Traveling by motorhome will give you freedom. In more conventional trips, we depend on hotel and plane schedules and other factors that limit your freedom to make plans. Places to visit in Andalusia

In Andalusia we will stop in two charming towns: Nerja and Roquetas de Mar.  Nerja is in Malaga and has a splendid coastline full of beaches, coves and cliffs. In its historic center we can enjoy the Balcón de Europa, a wonderful viewpoint over the Mediterranean, and numerous examples of popular architecture. All without forgetting its beautiful caves.

Roquetas de Mar is southwest of Almería, its old town includes monuments such as the castle of Roquetas, the church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and the watchtower of Cerrillos. In addition, it has many beaches to choose from.

An essential stop in Murcia

Mazarrón is one of the most typical destinations for traditional sun and beach tourism in Murcia. Along its 35 kilometers of coastline, you can do countless sports and leisure activities, as well as relax on the sand or take a dip.

On the other hand, it is famous for the erosions of Bolnuevos, rocks that have been carved and molded by water in a capricious way and that make up one of the most unique landscapes of the town.

Stops in the Valencian Community

First, we stop in the historic center of Altea, known as El Fornet.  A set of steep alleys that make it appear  on the lists of the most beautiful towns in Spain. In addition, it has more than 6 kilometers of coastline and a large promenade.

Our next stop on this route along the Spanish Mediterranean coast is Jávea, one of the most renowned destinations on the Alicante Costa Blanca. It is worth visiting both its historic center and the church of San Bartolomé. However, the 20 kilometers of sandy beaches and beautiful coves stand out above all.

What to see in Catalonia

Catalonia has many towns and beaches that are worth visiting. Of course, you can make a stop in Barcelona if you wish and have time, but as it is a well-known destination, we direct our steps to other places.

First, we stopped at Tamarit, in the province of Tarragona, a town built on a rocky promontory. In it you have to visit the wall and the castle, the church of the Assumption or the house of the Comú. Although it is one of the least known towns on this list, it is also one of the most worthwhile.

Our next destination is Sitges, famous for its festive atmosphere, as well as for the renowned film festival. It has fantastic fine sand beaches and beautiful views of the Mediterranean.

And we finish our route on the Costa Brava. We stop first in Calella de Palafrugell, an old fishing village that preserves its charm intact. Then we will go to Cadaqués, whose beauty has inspired  artists like Salvador Dalí.
