There are many advantages of hostels that you should take into account on your next trip, although of course, there are also disadvantages. We talk about all of them. We start with the advantages.

Price

Hostels are very cheap. This is possibly the most attractive feature for many travelers. Sleeping in a hostel can cost between € 10 and € 20 a night. Nothing compared to hotels. Also, if you go, you should only bear in mind that you pay per person, not per room.

Interaction with other travelers

One of the great advantages of hostels is that, by sharing rooms and common areas, going alone is not a problem. Sure you know a lot of interesting people, and you might even find travel and adventure companions.

Going for a walk with breakfast from the accommodation is priceless. Well in hostels yes, breakfast is usually included in the price of the bed or is very cheap. • You share a room:  sometimes you can be lucky and sometimes not. You can be in a room where someone snores, or where there are those who come very late at night and wake you up. Although there are rules and respect is essential, there can always be someone who breaks them.
• You share a bathroom: you will have to use the bathroom used by strangers, and sometimes it may not be free when you want to use it.
• Do not expect much from the facilities:  although as a general rule the decoration is neat and the mattresses are good, the facilities are simple. Don’t expect great luxuries.
• It can be difficult to rest. It is possible that one afternoon you want to stay in bed to rest, but if there are other people and they talk to each other, you may not be able to.

You are the one who decides what you want from a trip, but if you take into account the advantages of hostels over the disadvantages, it may pay off.  You have already seen that although the portfolio is not very full, you can always visit new places.
