Its classic and innovative dishes include dry rice with vegetables and baked mushrooms, rula hake, squid from Santander, cod fritters or anchovies from Santoña. And if these proposals are not enough by themselves to transfer diners to Santander, the decoration will do the rest.

Located inside the Mayorazgo Hotel, this restaurant aims to offer a luxurious gastronomic experience, although affordable for all budgets. At the same time, diners can enjoy its decoration, as it is full of paintings of the most popular squares in the capital.

Regarding the menu, it should be said that all their dishes are homemade and are made with local food. Some examples of what we can find are the vegetable tempura from the garden of Aranjuez or the lamb shank from the Sierra de Guadarrama.

This restaurant, opened in 1990, is a classic in Madrid for vegetarians, vegans or people with celiac disease who seek to enjoy gastronomy adapted to their tastes or needs. It also gives the opportunity to order a menu of the day or food at home.

As for its gastronomic offer, we find delicious bets such as Artemis aubergines or a combined plate of thyme rice, vegan burgers, broccoli cake with goat cheese and roasted sweet potato with vegan aioli. Their desserts are also noteworthy.

Five Guys

Among the restaurants on Gran Vía, Five Guys offers quality fast food. Its hamburgers, created with a baked bread and made with free-range eggs, meat from family farms in Ireland or cheese are especially noteworthy. To these you can add the ingredients you want.

In addition to the pizzas, you can choose from various dishes to share:  pasta (spaghetti carbonara, braised beef ravioli, Bolognese lasagna …), salads (from the mountain, from the farmyard or salmon) or  mozzarellas .

This restaurant tries to offer the best traditional Japanese cuisine at the best price, as it has a buffet menu that allows you to try various delicacies from the menu, such as nigiri or maki of different flavors, crab sushi , salmon tartare, wakame seaweed salad , ramen , fried rice, three delights and a long etcetera.

As if the wide gastronomic offer of the buffet menu were not enough , other dishes can be ordered for a small supplement, such as flambéed butterfish, ceviche with mango, roasted duck with crepes, unagidon , various types of tataki and sashimi , sushi , etc. noodles with Japanese curry or duck bath.
