Where to eat near the Petronas Towers

The Petronas Towers are one of the biggest attractions in Kuala Lumpur. They not only stand out for their steel or glass design, but also for their height of 452 meters. In fact, they were the tallest skyscrapers in the world from 1998 to 2003. To regain strength after the sightseeing, there are numerous restaurants to eat near the Petronas Towers. We discover the best options for you.

This modern-looking venue owes part of its name to the floor where it is located: 57 of the so-called Third Petrona Tower. In it, and through its glazed terrace to the ceiling, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Petronas Towers, while savoring a dish from the menu, which includes pasta, pizza and tapas. However, its price is quite high.

Another option to enjoy the fantastic views it offers is to order one of the many cocktails they serve. Among the most prominent are Marini’s Sangaree, with a gin base; or the Espresso Marteny, a version of the traditional Martini. The cost of these ranges between six euros, so the night can be longer than expected.

You can finish the meal enjoying one of their delicious desserts. Of course, the price is  high.

More economical is this restaurant, which offers fast food or take away food. Its specialty is Indian, but it also offers dishes from other cultures, such as Chinese; as well as vegetarian or vegan options.

Its reputation is backed by various awards it has received since its founding, as well as by the large number of people who come to one of the brand’s stores, which are spread over eighteen countries around the world.

Ki Ki Taiwan Cuisine

From Indian food we went to Taiwanese with Ki Ki Taiwan Cuisine. The restaurant is located practically at the foot of the Petronas Towers and offers endless dishes (vermicelli soup, fried rice with prawns, smoked duck…) at a more than affordable price. Its popularity is such that if we want to taste any of its delicacies we will have to book in advance.

Located on the fourth floor of the Suria KLCC shopping center, in front of the Petronas Towers, the UMAI-Ya boasts of offering innovative dishes based on the best of traditional Japanese cuisine, such as sushi or yakitori.

It also stands out for its decoration. Without going any further, one of the walls of the premises is adorned with a large anime poster, which gives the premises an elegant look. A good option to eat near the Petronas Towers.

Like the previous one, Madam Kwan’s is located in the Suria KLCC shopping center. The difference does not lie in the price, since both are cheap, but in the menu that they offer. And it is that we go from Japanese food to Chinese or other variants of Asian cuisine.

However, if this restaurant stands out for something, it is for serving truly Malaysian food, such as nasi goreng , a dish made from fried rice; or nasi bojari or cream rice, very popular in Malaysia. All prepared with quality ingredients and using unique cooking methods.

Eight Ounce Coffee Company

If what you are looking for is breakfast or a drink between meals, the Eight Ounce Coffee Company is a very good option, as it offers a variety of drinks, such as coffee, tea or hot chocolate. These can be accompanied by a delicious piece of cake.

The place also stands out for its attentive service and for taking care of the presentation of its products to the smallest detail. Perfect for eating near the Petronas Towers
